The 2013 Aloxe Corton Clos du Chapitre offers crunchy cranberry and raspberry scents on the nose, a little leafiness coming through with aeration, but nicely defined and fresh. The palate is medium-bodied with red plum and cranberry on the entry. The tannins feel rigid at the moment, imparting a masculinity into this Aloxe Corton and it feels just a little abrupt on the finish. Not bad, but I would drink this over the next 4-5 years. Tasted September 2016.
