My scores may turn out to be somewhat conservative for this yummy, succulent, gorgeously proportioned Barolo. The 1993 Barolo Bussia Rocche is the biggest, richest, densest, and fullest-bodied of this producer's 1993 Barolos. It is unevolved, but not as backward as the Bussia Munie. The wine reveals smoky, tar, black-cherry, tobacco, truffle-like aromas, full body, outstanding concentration, and a sweet but unevolved personality and finish. This wine will offer top flight drinking between 1998-2012.
