One of the Mosel's new superstars, Heribert Kerpen's soft and flattering 1992s are of high quality. Kerpen's 1992 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese #4 (two stars) is impressively rich, with excellent acidity for a 1992, a wonderfully ripe, honeyed character, fat, fleshy flavors, and a superb finish.
