Drouhin's 1992s are similar in style to the excellent 1989s. The wines are fat, ripe, tasty, and ideal for drinking over the near term because of their low acidity and their fleshy, open-knit style. The 1992 Chassagne-Montrachet is fat, ripe, and round, with some attractive orange fruit, and plenty of glycerin and alcohol in the finish. The wine should be drunk over the next 5-6 years.
