Aside from some leesy, funky smells (mercaptins) in the nose, this nearly opaque dark ruby/purple-colored, Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine is dense, rich, and full-bodied, with plenty of earthy, cassis fruit, layers of flavor, excellent richness and depth, and noticeable evidence of aging in toasty new oak.
