Pale ruby -colored, the 2011 Weemala Pinot Noir has expressive raspberry, red cherry and black pepper notes with a faint whiff of underbrush. Light-bodied with just enough red berry and pepper flavors in the mouth, it has a low level of chewy tannins, crisp acid and a medium to long finish. Drinking well now, it should keep through 2014.
