The 2012 Crianza feels very fresh with a fruit-driven nose, raspberries, licorice and candied cherries with even some aromas that reminded me of carbonic maceration. The wine drinks extremely well, and is polished with unnoticeable tannins, but the profile does not really make me think of a Crianza. A whopping 700,000 bottles of this wine were produced.

This sturdy red offers black cherry, plum, vanilla and cola flavors, supported by firm tannins and balsamic acidity. A bit rustic, but stays focused through the fruity finish. Drink now through 2022. 60,000 cases made, 600 cases imported.??–TM??Region: Spain / Ribera del Duero Select to Add
