A blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo, Mourvedre and Grenache, 2008 The Red Mullet has an earthy nose of damp humus and underbrush over black cherry, stewed tea, tobacco and spice box. Very crisp, full bodied and juicy, it offers a medium level of grainy tannins and a long finish. Drinking now, it should keep fresh through 2013.
