Moscato d'Astis are about as much fun to drink as any wine I know. If there is such a thing as a perfect breakfast wine, it is Moscato, with its low 5.5% alcohol and gorgeously fresh, lively aromas of peaches, apricots, and flowers, and its slight effervescence. The best Moscatos also offer a touch of sweetness. Batasiolo's 1993 Moscato d'Asti is a flowery, tasty, delicious wine that should be drunk before fall, 1995.
