The 2006 Montepulciano D'Abruzzo Rosso Del Duca is aged in medium-sized French oak, which gives the wine much of its textural beauty. This soft, full-bodied wine possesses excellent depth in its dark cherries, plums, spices and licorice, all of which come together in a rounder and more polished style than the straight Montepulciano.
