The dark ruby-colored 1996 Syrah Tepusquet Vineyard reveals attractive sweet cassis and black raspberries in its aromatics. Spice and pepper are present in this medium-bodied, pleasant, cleanly made Syrah. About 2% Viognier was added to the blend. This wine is made in a soft, fruit-driven style.
