Deep ruby. Classic cabernet aromas of red- and blackcurrant, cherry, cured tobacco and dried flowers, plus a touch of menthol. Pliant bitter cherry and cassis flavors are sweetened by vanillin oak and lifted by tangy acidity. The menthol note returns on the finish, which is youthfully taut and focused. This deserves at least another year or so of patience.
