The 2013 Pinot Noir Margo was 100% destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, raised in one-third new oak. It has a feisty bouquet with upfront red cherry, cassis and citrus aromas, just a hint of vanilla pod stemming from the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite pure and well defined, although it needs a little more energy and "flow" towards the finish.
