The medium to full-bodied 2010 Cote Rotie La Sarrasine exhibits notes of spring flowers, ripe berry fruit, new saddle leather, lavender and underbrush along with light to moderate tannin and excellent potential. It should evolve effortlessly for 10-12 years. Aside from a straightforward, one-dimensional Condrieu, this estate, owned by Guigal, is making better balanced, more interesting wines than they were a decade ago. The 2009 Cote Roties have just been released by Bonserine. (Most Guigal wines are released later into the marketplace because of more extended upbringings/elevages.)Importer: Europvin; www.europvin.com
