Founded in 1998, Valenciso makes one wine released as Reserva. The 2002 Valenciso Reserva is a particularly fine effort given the difficult vintage conditions. The nose is nicely perfumed with aromas of wood smoke, cedar, pencil lead, blackberry, and plum. This is followed by a firm wine with plenty of structure but good fruit behind it.
