Luminous and bright, the 2014 Grillo Mozia Fondazione Whitaker is a super zesty and energized white wine. Its aromas include citrus, lime and crushed oyster shell. Grillo vines are planted in a unique marine lagoon ecosystem on the tiny island of Mozia off the coast of Trapani in southern Sicily. This island was inhabited by the Phoenicians and has played an important strategical role ever since. Today, vines are owned by the Fondazione Whitaker and farmed by the Tasca family. The grapes are processed at their Regaleali estate.
