The 1997 Guado Al Tasso reveals young vine (average age 12 years) characteristics. Although complex aromatically, it falls short in the mouth. Aromas of cedar, tobacco, fruitcake, and black currants compete for the taster's attention. On the palate, the wine is spicy and medium-bodied, but compressed. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
