Barbi's 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Rivera explodes from the glass. A rich, heady wine, the 2007 captures the essence of the vintage in its sensual personality. Layers of expressive dark fruit blossom in a large-scaled, voluptuous wine bursting with personality. Firm tannins support the rich, enveloping finish. Barbi-s 2007 Riserva captures the richness of the year while maintaining quite a bit of freshness and structure. This will be an interesting wine to follow over the coming years.
