Another beautiful Vacqueyras is the 2014 Vacqueyras le Clos, which is an even split of Grenache and Syrah. Incredibly floral, with an almost tropical edge to its red fruits and spice aromas and flavors, it has medium-bodied richness, juicy acidity and a clean, elegant personality. Like all the wines from this estate, it’s destemmed and aged all in cement tanks. Drink it anytime over the coming 5-7 years.
