The white 2013 Lanius is mainly Pansá Blanca (the local name for Xarello) and other minor white grapes grown on granite soils fermented in a combination of oak and stainless steel small containers and raised in barrique for six months. The nose is quite Burgundian, with chalky and oaky aromas, subtle smoke and white and yellow fruit that are clean and bright. The palate is medium-bodied, with creamy flavors that could do with a little more freshness, but it's clean and pleasant. 3,000 bottles produced.
