The 2017 Orvieto Classico Superiore Castagnolo is a blend of 70% Grechetto and 30% Trebbiano that is faithful to local traditional. The wine affords an easy-drinking style with fresh citrus, pear and white peach aromas. No oak is used, but thanks to careful fruit selection in the vineyard, the bouquet is bright and authentic.
