The 2011 Orvieto Classico Superiore Castagnolo Secco shows lovely density of fruit allied to piercing, saline minerality. This is a gorgeous, vibrant Orvieto laced with flowers and white stone fruits. I would prefer to drink it over the next year or two, while the fruit remains vibrant and crispy.
