I tasted a very young and fruit-driven 2020 El Corralón, an entry-level red produced with Garnacha and 15% other grape varieties from Méntrida and matured in concrete and oak containers for nine months. It's primary, aromatic and attractive with a medium-bodied palate, medium ripeness (it's 14.5% alcohol) and with abundant, fine-grained, slightly dusty tannins. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
