Bodegas Heras Cordon’s 2007 Vendimia Seleccionada is made up of 90% Tempranillo with the balance Graciano and Mazuelo. It spent 20 months in new, mostly French oak. Purple-colored, it gives up a nose of wood smoke, lavender, spice box, and liqueur-like black fruits. Sweet, supple, and succulent on the palate, this flavorful offering has several years of aging potential and should be at its best from 2013 to 2022.
