Closed in a yellow wax capsule, the Caiarossa 2020 Caiarossa Bianco is an oak-fermented blend of Viognier and Chardonnay that rests on the fine lees. This elaborate process gives the wine beautiful volume, depth and smoothness with fragrant aromas of orange blossom, pastry cream and sweet almond. This is a tonic and vibrant blend that shows the best side of a Tuscan white wine.

Thanks to the cool and rainy growing season, the 2018 Caiarossa Bianco is tonic and light. The 60% Viognier and 40% Chardonnay are fermented and aged on the lees separately in foudres and oak casks and blended at the end, with little or no racking involved in order to make the wine with as little oxygen contact as possible. The result is a precise and clean white that would match up nicely with a delicate and fragrant pesto.
