Another velvety-textured, exuberant, opulent effort is the 2007 Pinot Noir Wilson Vineyard. It displays an elegant blue and red fruit character with hints of camphor, underbrush, herbs, and spice. A dense fruit profile, velvety tannins, and good acidity buttress all the fruit, giving definition to the wine’s personality. Already evolved, it should continue to drink well for another 4-5 years.
