This release offers a very light and graceful expression of Piedmont's most noble grape. The Cascina delle Rose 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo shows aromas of blue flower, tilled earth and rusty nail. The intensity is mild, but the wine proves reasonably long lived and finely textured on the close. These results are very polished and clean with terrific freshness at the end. Pour it with your favorite cheesy pasta dish. About 8,000 bottles were produced.

The Cascina delle Rose 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo is a fun and cheerful wine that shows the playful side of Nebbiolo, a side of the grape we don't often see outside this price point. There is a lot of bright and vibrant fruit with red cherry, sweet almond, licorice and wild herb. The wine is balanced and fresh. I imagine a happy pairing with a dish that sees melted Taleggio or another semisoft cheese. Some 5,000 bottles were made.

The 2016 Langhe Nebbiolo is a delicate red wine laced with wild berries, lavender and blue violets. This wine wraps over the palate with silky intensity and smooth texture. There is ample brightness and harmony here.
