The 2021 Mountain Blanco is balsamic, herbal and minty, quite expressive and not excessively varietal. Harvest was early—they started the 16th of August—and cropped from a very warm year that delivered low yields. The wine has 13.5% alcohol and a low pH that makes it quite balanced and fresh. It's still very young and a little reductive, but it was very recently bottled and that's normal for a wine that matures exclusively in stainless steel. It has a round palate with marked flavors and a faint bitter twist in the finish. 12,011 bottles were filled in July 2022. It's still closed and will be better with one more year in bottle.

The 2020 Mountain Blanco is an unoaked white dry Moscatel from Málaga with moderate alcohol, 13.5%, and a pH of 3.29. It's very aromatic and expressive, minty and balsamic, with faint varietal notes and a mellow palate with integrated acidity. 6,712 bottles were filled in May 2021.

They have changed the bottle and label of the 2018 Mountain Blanco, the dry Moscatel from Málaga, and it now features an old retro image. The wine was cropped from an atypical year with good spring rain and cooler temperatures that resulted in a late harvest that started on the 26th of August. It's a good year for dry wines, as the grapes didn't suffer the summer heat like in other occasions, and the grapes ripened slowly, developing full aromas and flavors. It has character and is more herbal (nettles, recently cut grass) than floral, more fruit-driven, juicy and tasty, with moderate acidity. It has a different personality. This was bottled unoaked. 8,011 bottles were filled in May 2019.

The dry Moscatel from Málaga 2017 Mountain Blanco comes from a warm, dry vintage and an early harvest that required sorting of the grapes even within the same bunch. This fermented dry in stainless steel. It has an amazing nose with herbs and spices—a lot more herbal than the Moscatel—with notes of bay leaf and nettle, not a varietal nose. The palate has volume, more than I expected, and it's riper, softer and rounder than it usually is. The nose is super aromatic and the palate needs food. This is an unusual vintage that I like very much, against the trends and with potential to develop in bottle. 13,012 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2018.

The 2016 Mountain Blanco is the current release of the dry Moscatel from Málaga. 2016 was a cooler year and produced a subtler wine with floral notes and balsamic aromas, perfumed and aromatic. The palate is dry and fresh, with a soft mouthfeel and more freshness than I expected (even if the grape doesn't have that much acidity). This is a white for food, and it should go well with a range of things. 9,309 bottles produced.
