Composed of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 8% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot, the 2013 Mystae has a medium garnet-purple color, opening with notes of red currants and black cherries with touches of wild blueberries, plums, spice cake, bay leaves and pencil shavings. Medium-bodied and delicately played in the mouth, the black berry and earthy flavors are framed by soft, fine-grained tannins and refreshing acidity, finishing long and spicy.
