Medium to full-bodied, satiny and charming, with an enveloping core of fruit, racy acids and a chalky finish, it will offer a broad drinking window.

The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers has turned out especially well, mingling aromas of pear, white flowers, citrus pith and blanched almonds in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, bright and chiseled, with good cut and concentration, it's a well-balanced, precise wine that will age with grace.

Another of the highlights chez Pillot is the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers, a lovely wine evocative of crisp orchard fruit, white peach, dried flowers and oatmeal.
