Aromas of green orchard fruit, blanched almonds, wheat toast and citrus oil introduce the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers, a medium to full-bodied wine with excellent concentration and flesh that's underpinned by bright, tangy acids, concluding with a long, stony finish. Pillot has almost a hectare of vines in this climat, and it's one of his most consistent cuvées.
