Revealing aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums mingled with peonies and rose petals, the 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons is medium-bodied, supple and fleshy, with an enveloping core of fruit and a giving, immensely drinkable style. I wouldn't be surprised to see it put on weight in bottle.

Aromas of rose petals, red cherries, blackcurrants and sweet soil tones introduce the 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and velvety wine that's lively and elegant, with an enveloping core of fruit and beautifully refined tannins.

The 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons has rounded out nicely and is showing very well in bottle, bursting with aromas of raspberries, cherries, spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and perfumed, it's lively and charming.

Offering up aromas of strawberry, cherry and mossy soil, the 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons is medium to full-bodied, firm and gently chewy, with more structure and concentration than the Grands Picotins bottling. The domaine's vines here are old, often an advantage in this vintage.

Domaine Pierre Guillemot's 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Narbantons is superb, opening in the glass with a lovely nose of ripe plums, red cherry, dried flowers, dark chocolate, spice and coniferous forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and multidimensional, with bright acids, excellent energy and a long, sappy finish.
