Opening in the glass with aromas of pear, orange oil, nutmeg, freshly baked bread, white flowers and pastry cream, the 2020 Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru is full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, with a multidimensional core, racy acids and a bright, tensile profile, concluding with a long, penetrating finish. In the hands of Eric Germain, it's one of the best examples of this site being produced today.
