Aged 22 months in 15% new French oak, the pale ruby colored 2017 Pinot Noir Cuvée E has soft, pleasantly rustic aromas of crushed red cherries, rose petal, leather, potpourri and cola with an earthy undercurrent. Light to medium-bodied, it offers gentle, layered flavors in a soft frame and with a long, fresh finish. 855 cases produced.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Cuvée E was aged 11 months in 20% new French oak. The nose opens with touches of pencil shavings and leather with a core of red and black berries, charcuterie, cracked pepper and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, the palate offers bright red and black fruits with pleasantly rustic, earthy touches, silky and finishing with just enough freshness. 600 cases produced.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Cuvée E is pale to medium ruby in color with bright red fruits on the nose plus notes of pulverized stone, black tea leaves and warm earth. Light to medium-bodied, it's got a touch of CO2 spritz on the palate, a good core of black and red cherries and currants, with grainy tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing long. 650 cases produced.

The 2013 Pinot Noir E is designed to be an "early drinker," but despite that, it actually has quite a complex bouquet with brambly black fruit and briary aromas that are well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, soft and easy drinking with smudged red cherry fruit and strawberry, just a touch of piquancy on the finish. This is recommended at the price.

The 2012 Pinot Noir "E" has a tightly-wound, earthy bouquet with raspberry and cranberry leaf, strawberry pastille developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. It is missing just a little weight, but is balanced and fresh with a saline, piquant finish.
