This wine is attractive and accessible in equal parts, and it offers the kind of prolific bouquet to enjoy with a green Thai chicken coconut curry. Production stands at 26,000 bottles, and you get good value.

I enjoyed the very fragrant and pungent bouquet of the 2017 Friuli Colli Orientali Sauvignon. You can't miss those persistent notes of tangerine skin. It's a nice and fresh wine, maybe not the best vintage, but this one works. You might pair it with a chicken salad with raisins, dried cranberries and walnuts.
