The 2014 Merlot sports a deep garnet color and offers rather innocuous, vague plum, tar and black forest cake notes with a medium body, soft tannins and fruity finish.

Their Bordeaux varietal offerings start with the 2012 Merlot, a dark ruby-colored, sexy effort with lots of mocha, chocolate, boysenberry and black cherry notes. The wine cuts a silky swath across the palate. With a medium-bodied, expansive mouthfeel, good purity and depth, and no hard edges, this fully mature Merlot is capable of lasting a decade.
