Pale ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard has restrained Bing cherries and blueberries, dried citrus peel and spicy accents on the nose. The light-bodied palate is somewhat dilute and juicy with a gently spicy finish.

Pale to medium ruby in color, the 2016 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard has a broody nose of forest floor, black cherries, blackberries, cola, woodsmoke and dried herbs hints plus notes of stewed black tea leaves. Light to medium-bodied and concentrated with earthy dark fruits in the mouth, it has grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing long.

Another of the more Burgundian-styled wines in the portfolio, the 2015 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard reveals lovely aromas of clove, rose hip, red berry fruit and spicy new oak, followed by a medium-bodied, juicy palate with a sapid core of fruit framed by velvety tannins and an intense, lingering finish.

Ripe black cherries, strawberries, forest floor and lots of spice emerge from the 2014 Pinot Noir Julia’s Vineyard, which is medium-bodied, nicely textured, fresh and elegant. There’s a kick of tannin, yet ripe and polished. Give bottles a year or two and drink through 2024.

Showing the darker style of Pinot Noir, the 2013 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard offers lots underbrush, crushed rocks, licorice and darker Pinot Noir fruit to go with a medium+-bodied, rich, structured and elegant profile on the palate. Completely destemmed and aged in 40% new French oak, it needs a year or two of cellaring and will keep through 2025.
