This impressive Zinfandel appears to have developed positively during its 15-year evolution. A big, spicy, smoked meat, berry, and herb-scented nose is intense and pleasurable. In the mouth, the wine is still deep, medium to full-bodied, with the rich, ripe, gorgeous fruit levels still obvious. The finish is pure, clean, well-balanced, and supple. This is immensely impressive, complex Zinfandel with both power and elegance.
