The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a blend of 81.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot and 0.5% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with vibrant scents of crushed black cherries, fresh blackcurrants and ripe plums plus suggestions of pencil shavings, cardamom, bay leaves and tilled soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing and chock-full of crunchy black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins, finishing long and earthy.

Composed of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate gives a deep garnet-purple color and gregarious nose of crushed blackberries, mulberries and plums with hints of underbrush, black pepper, tar and dried Mediterranean herbs. Medium to full-bodied with a youthful earth and fresh blackberry-laced palate, it has a pleasantly chewy backbone and herbal lift on the finish.

In 2014 the yields were sightly higher than in 2015, and his 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate shows flattering, front-end loaded and pretty red and black fruits, a dense, dark ruby/purple-tinged color, medium to full body, sweet tannin and a rather Bordeaux-like lushness and elegance. Drink it over the next 15 or so years.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc aged 21 months in 85% new French oak and bottled unfiltered) is just beginning to close down like some of the 2013s. Dense ruby/purple, notes of blueberry, crème de cassis, a touch of camphor and vanilla, the wine is structured, full-bodied, deep and meant for long aging. Forget this for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 25-30 years.
