Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2011 Cabernet Merlot has a profoundly scented black plum, cassis and eucalypt nose with a whiff of dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, the rich minted black fruits on the palate are nicely offset by crisp acid and a medium level of fine grained tannins, finishing long.
