The 2013 Les Sentius is a blend of 40% Garnacha, 40% Syrah and 10% each Cari?ena and Cabernet Sauvignon from vines planted between 2000 and 2001. It fermented with selected yeasts and matured in used French oak barrels for 15 months. It's quite marked by the élevage, with plenty of smoke, toast and spices coupled with very ripe fruit and a straightforward palate. 5,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2015.

Delivers a bright core of cherry, plum and mountain herb, with good density behind the firm tannins. Bright acidity keeps this lively, as berry and floral notes linger on the finish. Drink now through 2020. 800 cases made, 150 cases imported.??–TM??Region: Spain / Priorat Select to Add

The 2008 Les Sentius is a blend of 45% Garnacha, 20% Syrah, 10% Carinena and Bordeaux varieties. The nose is dense and rather oaky at the moment, while the full-bodied palate has a charred tincture deriving from the oak and distracting from the fruit. The 2007 Sentius displays a toasty minerality, violets, black cherry and plum in its inviting bouquet. Smooth and with some depth displayed in the glass, it has enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years and will offer a drinking window extending from 2012 to 2019. Celler Joan Simo is a small Bodega near the village of Porrera. The wines are made from purchased fruit, primarily Garnacha and Carinena, while the estate vines continue to mature.
