This is an IGT blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The organic Lungarotti 2017 San Giorgio is packaged in a heavy, rather unsustainable glass bottle. I do get cigar aromas that remind me of the tobacco plantations of Umbria. You are rewarded with savory spice and dark fruit with plum and dried blackberry. It shows big intensity, spread over a full-bodied style, with dark, hot-vintage concentration. This was a release of some 15,000 bottles.
