With more concentration and nuance than the Formigo from the same vintage, the 2017 Finca Teira is produced exclusively with grapes from a vineyard called Teira and is a slightly different blend this time because of the frost of 2017. It has less Treixadura, around 60%, and then the other 40% is split between Godello, Torrontés, Loureira, Albari?o and Alvilla from decomposed granite soils. It's clean, with dominant aromas of white fruit and flowers and a serious palate with a textural sensation that makes me think of coarse granite sand. It's tasty and balanced, with good volume and balancing freshness. 10,000 bottles produced in a shorter vintage. It was bottled in July 2018.
