The certified organic and biodynamic Musella 2018 Valpolicella Superiore reveals dark cherry confit and pressed blackberry, with more dark flavors that are both lively and bold. Those layers of baked fruit are followed by spice, tar and smoke. This lovely Valpolicella shows a rich and soft approach; however, this 100,000-bottle production remains simple and easy-drinking all the while, ready for a platter of grilled sausage and vegetables. The blend is 85% Corvina and Corvinone, 10% Rondinella and 5% Barbera, and the wine is aged in large oak casks.
