The 2006 Ithaca Chardonnay was 100% barrel-fermented, did not go through malolactic fermentation, but remained on its lees with batonnage. Light gold-colored, it exhibits aromas of toast, mineral, pear, and hazelnuts. Smooth-textured, deep, and concentrated, this lengthy Chardonnay will offer pleasure for the next 2-3 years.
