This 2018 Ithaca Chardonnay has a distinctly maritime nose: nori and kelp, brine, iodine and nutmeg. In the mouth, it is concentrated and powerful; the orchard fruit is evolving slowly and relatively gracefully at this point. It has a cleansing, abrupt finish.
