The Pio Cesare 2019 Dolcetto d'Alba is redolent of bright berry fruit, raspberry and wild rose. There is a tangy, unruly quality to this wine that gives it personality and quirky appeal. Those bright and raw fruit aromas are followed by a lean and compact mouthfeel that makes for easy and approachable drinking, by itself or maybe with some meat-filled ravioli. Production is 30,000 bottles.
