In 2009, the Josephshofer seems to offer the most mineral presence of the various von Kesselstatt GG bottlings, displaying an almost briny character at first, then molten rock tinged with hints of peach, orange and apple. The alcohol is only 12.5%, yet it comes across as full bodied, rich and creamy in texture, with a long, spice-driven finish. ——J.C.(6/1/2011)—— 91
