Last Tasted 8/92
A bold nose of minerals, smoked nuts, and apples is followed by a full-bodied, chunky wine, with fine glycerin, extraction of fruit, and body. However, there is not as much complexity as one would like to see in a 14-year old white burgundy. The long finish is beginning to reveal some alcohol, but the wine is in no danger of falling apart. It can easily be kept for another 5-8 years.
