The 2015 Villa Fidelia Rosso is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged in barrique for 12 months. This is a sun-drenched and powerful wine (with a noticeable 15% alcoholic content) that delivers rich plummy fruit and thick textural layers. Some 30,000 bottles were released.

The 2010 Villa Fidelia Rosso is a hearty blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that is aged in French oak for 12 months. This is a deep and penetrating wine that boasts enormous richness and inky black concentration. The bouquet shows similar weight and persistence with dark spice, dried cherry, blackberry preserves and Teriyaki smoke. This is a wine of enormous depth and power.

The estate's flagship 2007 Villa Fidelia is a serious wine bursting with mocha, roasted coffee beans, French oak, leather, licorice, spices that add considerable complexity to the dark, inky fruit. This super-rich, concentrated red is showing beautifully today, but ideally it needs another few years in bottle. The 2006 Villa Fidelia flows onto the palate with a rush of red berries, flowers, spices and new leather. The clarity and delineation is striking, but the wine loses a bit of persistence on the mid-palate. Overall, this is a somewhat mid-weight Villa Fidelia that is likely to offer its best drinking relatively early. Villa Fidelia is Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
